Ok so im relatively new to diving fins and have nearly no clue about them.
I want to try out freediving with long freediving fins since I´we only been doing non-fin descents all my life. The reason for this is that i get darn cramps in my feet after 1min with anny fin I´we used (Note: They were not freediving fins).
I want to buy a sett off good fins but im worried that they may end up collecting dust, so can annyone tell me what to buy/do to fix this issue?
Thanks :pompous:

I'm sorry, but you said nothing about fins you tested, especially their foot pockets. Also nothing about water temperature you are going to dive in. General advice is to keep your feet muscles stretched and warm, so appropriate warm-up exercises and maybe wetsuit with socks are necessary.

I dont know what brand the fins were, but in general; medium lenght chinese look alikes. (They worked for most of my relatives).
They didnt have the straps around the achilles tendon and where the usuall "enclosed" sett off foot pockets.
The water temp was around 25-32 degrees celsius.
Will try out using wetsuit socks and warm up this summer.
