nly done 1 summer , can do 10m max with bottom time , would like some one to hunt with , with similar or better bottom time.

There are more established clubs in Auckland Auckland Freediving Club and Wellington Lazy Seals Freediving Club | New Zealand's only freediving club but I think these guys run some apnea training in your area. i'm on the commitee for the nelson under water club we have alsorts of free diving and spearfishing going on we hosted the south island spearfishing champs the last 2 years
we helped darren shields launch his wettie new era comp layout
if you go out to dive centeral ricmond they have the latest magizine the club produces
this has the dive trips comming up in it as well there are dives on every weekend the weather allows
covering everything from scuba to spearfishing and free dive pool training the club does it all with over 100 members

I am in Nelson and would be keen on being a buddy in the pool or ocean. I haven't been out more than 2 or 3 times a summer over the last couple of years but am keen to get into some regular training.
I have no experience hunting. I usually take a camera to shoot with instead of a gun BUT I would be super keen to learn spearfishing from the right teacher.
