I'm not a scuba diver. I know some about the physiology of diving, but I need to solicit a more practical experience with this.
Anyway, I read in Nemo 33 tank there are bunch of "caves" at 10 meters. Divers can stop by there to go to the 10m observation tower.
My question is, lets say I freedive from surface, stop by at these 10m caves, stay there to take a breath for one or two minutes, I assume the air there is pressurized to match the water pressure? Otherwise all the glass windows would blow out?
Now since I'm practically breathing the compressed air (just like scuba folks), when I'm going back up to surface, I should exhale the air to prevent bends, right? Do I need to go empty lung?
I assume this would also work the same if I started entering water from 10m tower?
