I recently bought a JBL Explorer 24. I am new to spearfishing completely. I have quite a few friends who spearfish here, but they are all gone for the next month. I would like to learn how to spearfish while they are gone so that I may join them when they return. Where can I find a guide to spearfishing and also how to load/arm my gun?

I found a link on the forums that had another link to a picture step-by-step for how to load the speargun.

that is answered now, however I would still appreciate any advice from all the veterans on this forums regarding spearfishing and freediving in general. anything that you think back and wish someone would have told you when you started out would be great :D
