New Gun for Hawaii?

Hey guys,

I'm going to Hawaii in November, and bringing my speargun (aimrite 90cm) will be somewhat expensive as it won't fit in a suitcase. I'm going to buy a new gun and have it shipped there, so I will have a gun to use on my annual trip out there. I'm looking at either a 110-130cm, anyone got any recomendations?

I was considering the aimrite venom or a Daryl Wong blue water bc I do eventually want to blue water dive, but would be alright with a reef gun for this years trip.

Go Daryl Wong!!! If it's something you plan on using sometime in the future, no sense in buying an extra gun later. He makes great guns!

This gun is staying in Hawaii, I've told my brother that its mine to use while I visit, but his otherwise (unless I move there at which time I might take it back). It is going to be his wedding gift from me, so I'm going to let him pick it. I emailed Daryl today and got some basic questions answered very quickly, my brother is going to call him tomorrow and hopefully we will have something picked out by this weekend or next week.

Well my brother and I have been in contact with Daryl Wong (so far his customer service has been outstanding!) and I'm pretty sure we are going with a 55" GR Hybrid in blue camo. Guns look amazing and everything I've read online says they are the best in the world. I will be able to give a first hand account after this November...

Attached is the gun, can't wait to get out there in November... Engraved with Bergner Brothers on the side. As I said its a gift to my brother for his wedding next year, but I'll be using it when I go out there.
