I found a pretty good spot here in jax to hunt .Lots of rock piles and culverts with about 10 ft viz at the beginning of outgoing tide.
Saw the back end of what i think was a 4 or 5 ft barracuda, Just as I dove down he shot of in the distance.I went out yesterday and scouted the place out and saw some good size sheeps small grouper and some huge jack crevalle (But of course I didn't bring my gun). The larger sheephead had 15" fork length and the small one was 12".

So there are fish after all. Any change in water temp. or status quo? I haven't made the trp to NC yet putting it off till tuesday. I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks for the tide info.

Was this at the jetty in Georgia?

The ware temp has warmed up but still cool . I'm wearing my old all black 4/3 aleeda surf suit because my 3/2 dive suit has a bright
blue stipe on both sides and it doesn't allow any stealth.I have some bad news for you Defo the ST. Mary jetties are not accessable without a boat , good news is the south end of the jetties are in FL state park and very accessable.I drove up there saterday and looked around at low tide water was very murkey, but the other jettie i told you about will probally be your best bet .The place I snagged these fish is right around the corner
in a pass very good with slack tide .Viz was 5-8 and the deepest spot is maybe 12' it's deeper away from the rocks but no structure there.I'll post the pics of the area when i get them developed.I was off on the tides at the spot so I missed the incoming viz.I'll send you a pm Defo
