I dis covered freediving while scuba diving in Belize last month. When I returned to New Orleans I began to look around for an instructor but there's either a 6 month wait or people are no longer teaching. Does anybody no of any insyruction available in thr Gulf Coast area?

I don't know about instructors around You, but can recommend this site to get a wealth of information on freediving. Here You'll be able to get into the theory of diving and physiology as well as training methods and tips. Not to mention buddies from whom there's always a thing or two to learn and with whom diving is a lot safer and just plain old more fun

Should You go through formal training some time, any reading on DeeperBlue will likely be valuable and make the course even more enjoyable for You.

Hey, I'm an abid scuba diver, and want to go into free diving to improve my scuba. Any suggestions on where to start?
