Hello everyone,

My name is Vera and I freedive and spearfish in Greece.
In Greece we have some of the most beautiful diving places in the world.
Clear, light blue water and visibility over 20 meters.
I don't dive any more proffessionally since I had my two daughters, but I always try to find a chance for an escape to the sea.
The last years I am in the manufacturing of wetsuits.

Cheers
Vera

Hi Vera

welcome to Deeperblue! what kind of wetsuits do you make?

Hello,

thanks for the welcome
I make all kinds of wetsuits, for diving, spearfishing, and all kind of watersports. We have a small factory in Thessaloniki, and we sell in Greece, Cyprus and many countries of the Mediterranean. We also have two years that we have an online store, too.
Best regards
Vera

Welcome Vera - I'm stuck in the centre of Athens at the moment, so close yet so far from the sea. Is that last photo of the beach with the umbrellas from Sifnos?

Hi, Simos

I wish you get out of the jam and get in the water the soonest !
It is from Lefcada, Engremnoi , you can go there only by descending(and ascending back) more than 120 steps but it's really worthy.
Cheers

Hi Vera,
a warm welcome to deeper blue! It's great to read from you here. I'm a big fan of your shop.
Guys, if you're looking for perfect customer care, Vera is the one.
I don't have any relationship to aqualandwetsuits, I just made the experience.

Hi Vera,

Just wanted to check- so is your wetsuit business called Aqualand Wetsuits? Do you guys make wetsuits for the Toronto Freedive Club?

Could you post the website address?

Welcome to DB Vera!

Nice website, with nice prices too.
I wish there were some detailed material pictures, to see and compare the colours.
Also the density and type of the neoprene used would be nice.
Do you do special suit designs?
Can I pay also by bank transfer up front? (I don't have a credit card nor Paypal)

The question is to be expected, where is the photo of you in a self made suit?

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars

Hello Kars,

Thank you for your interest.
We are working in more details with the material and pictures but we are worried about color accuracy through the web.
The material is Nam Liong neoprene , has a good quality to price, and different widths are used based on the required water temperature compatibility from 1.5mm to 9mm they are all quite dense.
We can do special suit designs upon customer request, as we are specialized in custom suits.
We use PayPal as simpler and more convenient but we can accept a direct transfer.
As for my pic, I'll soon post one :-)
Dive safely

As for colours, you can use the white Greek buildings in combination with some well known Items like a lemon, Orange, carbon fins, flags, buoy, mask, etc.

Maybe you offer people an affordable material sample package?

Most people know Heiwa medium, how does the Nam Liong compare?

You must be a very busy person, hopefully you got a nice family and colleagues to work with.

Are your children already venturing into the water?

Hello Kars,
My daughters are 21 and 18 :) and they are into the water almost since they were born! They have practiced not competitive swimming and diving for many years.
As for Heiwa and Nam Liong neoprene, we used Heiwa for several years in the past, and we found out that their qualities are similar. Since Nam Liong had better delivery, we have been using it for many years, and our clients cannot tell the difference.
If you want samples of the materials and colors, I could send to you some.
Cheers
Vera
