Hey folks. I live in East Sutherland in the Highlands. I've snokelled for a number of years on both coasts and recently picked up a speargun. It makes sense with lobster about. A buddy told me to look in for good advice and I'd like to say hi to everyone.

Hi Chilly,
Spearguns aren't generally used or recommended for lobster [see the recent thread titled "lobster" for a fuller discussion on that], some say it is illegal in UK and/or EU Atlantic waters - although haven't seen the actual law for that that I can recall (pos. the EU N. Atlantic paper). You can just pick them up - be careful. Take a netbag (or, at a push, tie them into your float-line) or set a lobster pot.
