New O2 WR

I read in today's (16 Feb) newspaper that Peter Colat has established a world record in Switzerland. The article was as usual a bit vague about the details, but given that the time is 19'21 I suppose it is an O2 static.
Congratulations to Peter for taking back what had already been his record some time ago. Even with O2, it is probably not easy to last so long.
 
I never knew this was a "scene" in freediving. Can someone fill me in on this discipline?
