Todays dive spent 20 minutes breaking up ice that was 1-2 cm in thickness. Temperature today was 4 degrees fahrenheit. Problem: Mask freezing. Big treasure today goggles with zebra muscles growing in them. Wild life spotted included one eagle, six displaced canadian geese, white tail deer, one large dead rotted fish at 20 feet and two crayfish battling to the death. My dive partner was most wordly having lived on three continents and is truly a stand up kind of guy. No longer will cold be a facter with my new three fingure gloves because of having watched Wim Hof swim unsuited under the ice for I believe 8 minutes. Post dive refreshment was two buckets full of starbucks coffee. This added more vim and vigger. Thank you Nick for the lake conditions yesterday. Cheers...Rob
