Announcement New Search Functionality

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Hi DB Members - we've got some new functionality coming online to improve the member experience on the forums.

The first of these is a new search engine. This has been tested and brought online via the search options on the site. The new search allows for extensive options on filtering including relevance, forum/sub-forum, user and timeframe.

For those who want original results from the forums can click on "Show Xenforo Search Results" as well.

Stephen, thats great, but it would help enormously if the Search function was clearly visible on the Forums page. I generally can't find it.

I've moved the search icon/functionality to the main menu bar and working on a position on the sidebar as well.
