New to site

Hi all,

I am new to site and new to the spearfishing community, I live in Northern California and trying to find good locations to fish. Any advice is much appreciated.

I would love to get down there as well to do some diving, whenever a group comes up I would enjoy to go with some experienced divers to learn if that's a possibility!

Actually I live in Modesto, but anywhere on the coast from Monterey North is close for me, a little drive is no big deal for some good diving. How is the diving and fishing in/near Monterey?
