makos come with 7mm shafts, thats about a 9/32
i would go with the 2 16mm or if he will do it you could get 2 14mm bands, thats what i shoot most of the time.

which is stronger, the 2 16mm, or 2 14mm?? im assuming the second number is the thickness so 16mm?? and what is 16mm in a different metric? also, the length of the rubber makes a difference to right? i don't know what kind of length i would need for those guns.

Do a search on band lengths as there is an equation which figures for a 3.5:1 stretch ratio.
i think 16mm is 5/8 of an inch and 14mm is 9/16 but not 100%
