Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I've been diving, and spear fishing, since 1975, mostly in the Northwest. I haven't done either since I've been in Texas, but am starting back up again. My son turned 13 this year and I think it's time to get him in the water for some serious spear fishing. We've been doing a little snorkeling, and he's tried to use my spear pole, but hasn't got the hang of it yet. I'm hoping the visibility will be better this winter on the Texas coast, it been pretty crappy most of the summer, so we haven't spent a lot of time in the water.
Anyway, great to be here, and I look forward to some enlightening conversations!

Jeff

Hi Eddi,

The trick of freediving is to slow down to the speed of the water, like fish do wandering about.

Lovely to hear you and your some sharing time in the water :)
Have fun! Enjoy the fish and picnic.

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars
