new wetsuit fit question

I just tried out my new omer wetsuit off the coast in ventura county, calif. I followed the instructions to
put warm water all over the suit before putting it on which helped a lot.
The location is called deer creek road and is a favorite spot with kayak fisherman. That day there
were two tank divers with spear guns going out to the kelp beds which are about a quarter mile out.

I couldnt put on the beavertail until I got past the shore break just needed a bit more water for the
final adjustment. The fit problem was in the groin area as the wetsuit seemed to be crushing the
area. I didnt have a swimsuit on, so I was wondering if having speedos or something like a jockstrap
would help?

By the way I noticed fish and game waiting on shore for the divers to come in. I am guessing he was
going to check for their fishing licenses.
