I got a chance to jump in today and vis is the best I've seen all winter. The outlet was not on so the water was a balmy 34f everywhere I swam.
The whole area has opened up with the warm weather and rain. I can't tell you how far out it goes because the fog is way too thick to see that. I do know that everything is open past the wooden barriers.
I saw lots of panfish hiding out by the outlet entrance and another large grouping out int the weed beds- about 10'. There were also a few musky and only one carp. The carp was so sluggish that I just grabbed him with my hand, took his picture, and let him go- who says spearo's can't do catch and release?
My toes got pretty cold after 40 minutes- not sure if this FRC stuff makes it happen quicker or not, but something to play with and see.
