Hey guys, I'm new here. I guess I've been "freediving" before I knew what it was. As a young kid my brothers and I saw who could swim the deepest and touch the floor whether it was in the ocean, lake, or pool. Mostly here to pick up tips about freediving to help with my newer found interest of spearfishing. 50' is about the max depth i would want to go for now. Down the road I'd like to get my scuba certification but price for the class and set up holds me back currently. Plus there's just something about 1 breath and 1 dive and looking up at the clear blue column of water that surrounds you knowing it's just you in control.
