[News] Close Call for Renowned Underwater Photographer Fred Buyle

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
There are some more details on French forums. The accident happened in the French Polynesia, in Fakarava. Fred was crashed by a fishing speedboat who's pilot is an ex-mayor of the local community. He claims he did no see or hear anything, and that he passed 100 m from the marked boat (though he drove through an area restricted with floaters).

It's the sharks that are supposed to bite, not the boats. Just goes to show that humans are still the most dangerous species around. I hope Fred recovers quickly and is back in the water in no time!

Not all humans... just the stupid ones. If those people had one more brain cell... they'd have one brain cell. Those people should be shot, buried and pissed on... and not necessarily in that order.

Edit: So it was a politician. That would explain everything. They lie everywhere else... so why not in this case?
