[News] Freediver Patrick Musimu found dead

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
It's difficult to accept that a life was lost this way.

His depth as a Human Being is a source of inspiration for any individual.

He has conquer a special place in our hearts and hopefully his wave of freedom will touch others to become real freedivers.

As he said:

Death reminds us how important life is, he surely wanted us to experience what he felt down there.

Deeply,

R.I.P. Musimu

Apparently the funeral is tomorrow (Wednesday, 27th).

My 11 year old boy and I had a 30 min talk about the friends I have lost and the son my best friend lost. Patrick will live on forever in our minds when I do pool work. My son Dillon and I will pray for his family Wed.

Sincerely Don and Dillon.

Just found out about this unreal tragedy last Sunday at the EUBS Conference in Gdansk where Patrick's great contributions to scientific research in freediving physiology were repeatedly mentioned (especially in DAN research projects).

What a great, untimely loss of a truly inspirational and unique human being.
My sincere condolences to his wife and daughter, family and friends.
May He Rest In Peace
