Kars, Ant is my son. :D

On Deeper Blue his id is SayNo2O2.

He was president of Sydney Freedivers last year but he needed to concentrate on his training this year so, I took up the mantle (through club elections of course) . So far his training is moving fine with his static record and today I found out he PBed in training at Hawaii and dived 70m.

Yeah, I saw he hit the sand on facebook. A shovel was suggested for his next dive...

Yeah, he grabbed a handful with the intent to bring it back to the surface, but it was a long way to swim with a handful of sand and when he arrived, sadly the hand was empty.:waterwork

Film maker Michaela Droppova has recently joined our club and spent the time making a video of Ant's static. Its are really nice piece of work and more interesting than you would expect of a static attempt. Check it out: Sydney Freedivers

Cool Video Judge!, very nice, a much better way showing static in this reporting style!

BTW the FIM record by Seamus turned out to be an adventure too! I'm sure Seamus has more in him!

Ok, that's it, I hit my limit on exclamation marks ;)

Have a nice celebration touching, standing on a sandy empty ocean floor, being there for a few moments it is like landing on the moon, you feel like you're in another world, a beautiful magical world.
This was my best freedive experience.

Love, courage and water,

Kars
