North / East London Pool Training?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Hello!
Seeing if there is any interest in a freediving training club / evening in north or east London? I live in Leyton / Walthamstow and over an hour on the tube is a bit much to get to the established clubs in South London. So I was thinking of contacting a pool and booking some lanes one night a week for static and dynamic training.

Anyone interested in joining?

I am Level 3 (SSI) qualified but not an instructor (yet). Don't want to lose my breath hold just because i'm land locked in the city :)

Hi,

I'm in Wapping, (it's between the city and canary wharf), and about AIDA 2-3 star level.

Would be very interested in any club in North/East london!

At the moment I do static and dynamic training at St Georges Leisure Centre (E1W 3BP). It's 33m and the lifeguards are OK with training within your comfort zone.

really nice to see your post!

Yep, I go there regularly, only live 200m away. It's very quiet in off peak times, and not so crowded otherwise.

Am doing my ADIA ** this weekend, so will be more competent to buddy after that. Had to stop training due to work thus it might not go that great - damn the open water feels really cold now?

If you're not maxing out and within your comfort zone, I'd be happy to help out/buddy after this weekend?
