Mark Jacobs had the idea of holding a Palooza so that denizens of the North-Eastern megalopolis could get together and sample some fins. The proposed place is Dutch Springs (www.dutchsprings.com) since it has reliable parking, camping facilities, medical staff and even an "Aqua Park". Very family friendly and all that.

I have posted a poll to get an idea of preferred dates. We'll just use the poll as a guide -- other factors may influence the actual date. Poll closes Aug 10th.

We're trying to get together collection of fins for folks to try. So far, there are a few Waterway fiber-blades, maybe a WW mono or two, some Special Fins Pro hards. If anyone wants to loan some fins to the event, we want to let you;).

I've accumulated quite a variety of fins from having my two oldest kids diving with me and trying different fins to fit different feet. The collection includes at least 10 models from 6 different manufacturers. That's what winter daydreaming will do for you in a relatively freedive-limited part of the world. Anyway, I'm happy to loan fins to try for a Palooza and look forward to the opportunity to participate.

I have a pair of FINIS Competition Blade. Sep 4,5 should be the best for me. God Bless.
