Just got back - left at just after 5am, arrived in plenty of time for the high at 8:30am - stunning conditions, water was like glass - around 8 meters+ viz with a little clouding to it.
Was super excited to try a new spot which I though would prove amazing for mullet, was sorely disappointed though - completely fishless. Headed to the shallows where there was some really thick weed and picked up a nice bass that was cruising along - spied a couple more but let them be.
After a few detours, I ended up at a well know spearing location - fished the shallows which was barren as usual (really don't rate this spot at all, although I know some people love it) - saw a couple of bass in the extreme shallows but nothing at depth. Headed further round the coast and picked up another bass and a mullet. Had a mooch in the boulders and got a lobster out.
Checked out a few more promising looking spots but there was not a fish in sight - everywhere I went was totally unfishy - need some murkier water!
Gave up spearing for the rest of the day and decided to go lobster hunting - caught another six in total, four of which went back - one was a massive beast but was berried so was safely returned to her burrow.
I'd picked up a few spiders over the day which were all returned - finally I came across Spiderzilla, one of the biggest spiders I've ever seen ( and I've seen some big ones! ). Spiderzilla slightly dwarfs everything!
A great day out - I was a bit disappointed by the lack of fish but well enjoyed the crustacean hunt - I think I'm getting slightly addicted to lobster hunting, I love the game - I find being gentle works best - distract with one hand, grab with the other! It means you can also let them go afterwards without any damage!!
Didn't see any shoals of bass or mullet, only loners which was a little odd - millions of bait fish around.
Finished off the day with a lovely bass & lobster BBQ - seriously, BBQ'd lobster is AMAZING! The best I've ever had it!

Just so you know, there is a massive triathlon happening tomorrow with around 1,000 idiots, I mean competitors. They're swimming in Abersoch bay so it's closed to boats. I'd avoid the whole area.
