Hi Dave, without a shadow of a doubt I'd recommend a Rob Allen 90cm Aluminium - I've used Alu & Carbon varieties, they're flawless. I've always used a 6.6mm or 7mm spear with a single 16mm band.

If you're only buying one gun, I'd go for an 80cm version, 90cm is almost too much for North Wales - an 80cm would be a much better all rounder.

Amazing price for what is, by all accounts, a decent gun - you won't see many in the UK. I'd go for the 75.

Pathos for ever if you want a good and modern gun. Superior handle, nozzle and mechanism respect to rob allen.
I have sargos 82, laser open 75 and laser open carbon 110. All great. 82 ideal dimension for North Wales. 75 is fine too.
Does the finish on the Laser Open rip the dyneema wishbone? It looks really rough..?
They put steel wishbones to normal shafts and dyneema only on guns with shark fins shafts. I have steel wishbone on sargos 82 and laser open 75 and dyneema on laser open carbon. Never changed the dyneema on the laser open carbon, it is a really good dyneema.
Ah, that makes sense - I'm terrified of steel wishbones after that horrible Seatec cannon I had that almost took my index finger off while I was loading it! Uhhh! I like Dyneema!!

That's the only place to my knowledge - I don't think they're an official supplier - I'm guessing that they've just brought a few of them. Apart from Dario, I don't think that anyone else in the UK is using them - I personally don't know much about them.
Rob Allen's are very much tried and tested but the Pathos look decent - I don't like the look of the steel wishbones though - finger rippers! I'd replace those asap and just keep replacing them if they're being damaged - the barrel looks rough. Ask Dario!
That's right, they are the only unofficial supplier in the UK. They are very popular in other European country, in Italy especially. The wishbones are very thin and fits nicely inside the notch so there's no risk it slips out. I had the same in the past and got injured but it was with a chunky wishbone and the band was so short that I could barely load it. The saragos 82 has a band which is quite easy to load so you will not have any problem (on the other hand the laser open is hard to load as it has a 20mm short band. It shoots really far though). Yes, they do - it's not a standard option though - you might have to special order it.
