Comparison of reels, the little one of the 80 is ideal for the UK. It's little but it's there with 25mt of line when you need it.
I'm based in Essex but I don't mind travelling. After doing a bit of research I think Wales is the place I wanna go next. Looks awesome. I've been pool training pretty hard so hopefully haven't lost to much bottom time. Where would you recommend?
As Dario said there are much more fishy spots on south coast with warmer water possibly better weather and more spearos .I put Dorset, Devon and Cornwall on the list first but if your up for a few days let us know and some one will meet up with you.keep us up dated.
For example if you shoot a double figures fish and it gets entangled in kelp or it holes up. Actually last summer a couple of big pollacks went for a hole and if I didn't have the reel I should have left the gun down with them which I don't like.
Ok thanks. I'm gonna be diving all over but definitely wanna give Wales a try. I dived bognor a few times last year with only a few small bass but il give it another go. I read a lot about kingmere but I don't know where it is. If I come to Wales I will let you know. It would be great to hook up with you guys.
South coast Lleyn on Thurs, crap viz (<1m) and the scallops are bloody hard to find after the storms.

Well done for getting in! Sad news about the scallopes but I'm not surprised the locals have probably picked them all of the beach ! Joy.The viz looked very good on the abersoch SYSC cam .Think I have missed the boat again for a few weeks with high winds due this week on south westerly .Going down Thursday eve hopefully for a look may have to try north coast.?
