Not as much as I would of liked I can use it on my own but its just a little bit better with two! This is the year!...Um... did I say that last year .Lets hope for a hot calm summer/year.

Ha, I only used my boat once last year - broke the fuel line and couldn't be bothered with it after that - it was too much of a pain to deal with.

Moral of the story, if you buy an inflatable, BUY LAUNCHING WHEELS! Lugging a 15hp outboard from the car park then 200m meters over the sand is ZERO fun, no matter how strong you are - especially after you've just lugged the damn boat down there!

Crazy keen definitely! When I know I'm diving the next day I can't sleep. I'm like a kid at Christmas. The wife thinks there is something wrong with me lol.

My frustration has turned into purchasing new kit I probably don't need, a new slightly bigger boat , and a 45cm gun, in expectation of the horrendous viz .

Oooo! What boat did you end up buying Will? A 60cm gun will be my next purchase - looks we're all expecting the worst!

Just picked up a used Bombard aerotech 380 . Still a roll up job , but I like the idea of being able to launch anywhere on my own and only needing my 9.8hp to push it so no launch fees and easy on the fuel ,and no messing with trailer . Probably about as much boat as you can get in terms of still being portable. The 45 will complete my line up of 45 , 70 , 90. 60 sounds a good size , what make you going for. A lot of the better makes don't do guns under about 70 .

Ah, very nice buddy - I was looking for one of those, easily the best roll-up you can buy.

I opted for a new Quicksilver 340, it's only 41kg is rated for a 20hp, should be good with my 15. I picked up some Avon launching wheels and an electric pump too - just having a hard bottomed cover made for the boat so I can stow it flat on the roof-rack - just have to lift off, pump up and wheel to the water!

As for the gun... it's from a new brand that hasn't launched yet - I've seen their pre-production stock and it's epic - Greek made open muzzle rail gun with reverse trigger mech, mini-shark fin spear, dyneema rubbers, custom designed for UK waters - I think I'm picking up a 60 and an 80 - possibly a carbon 90 as well. Will post them up when they arrive!
