hi guys i would like to ask something about blood comming out on my friends nose when freediving gesa a license open water diver and no problem diving w/ a scuba but when in freediving 40ft or more hes nose bleeds alot and stop diving can someone help me explain this problem to him thanks alot guys

Hello there, I would guess the extra force your friend is using to equalize without a regulator in his mouth is busting the very fine blood vessels in his sinuses. 40ft is a classic failure depth for inadequate EQ. It happened to me.
Is the blood deep, dark, red? Or more like blood and saliva mixed together?
In general, with more practice and a good equalization technique, this problem is passed quite quickly. Take a course with a qualified freediver instructor, I am sure there are some in your region.

hi ,THANKS MATE the blood is red and its hard to look for a instructor here mate there none actually and we all love the sport alot we dont scuba anymore coz we love freediving alot we have C cards padi. can you teach us just a little skill to enhance our freediving mate thanks alot
