Eating vegetarian (esp. vegan) really brings the cholesterol down. Milk & eggs are like meat for cholesterol - a vegan diet includes none of those, and so no cholesterol....I started eating oatmeal everyday to see if i could lower my cholestrol. While I was at it I put flax in there to boot. It worked! lowered my count by 10 points. So I started reading healthy and find out flour is a big culprit. I now grind my own and use it right away and I feel a whole lot better. I now feel like my supplements are working. Also I started eating sprouts great stuff! Now when i do have a nice seafood dinner it feels like i just ate a powerhouse. You guys ever do wheat grass juice Im thinking about a juicer?
Not sure about wheat grass but I knew a guy that once worked in a health food store in California & he said lemon grass juice was very popular. It is a laxative -- perhaps that's how those Californians stay so slimrofl. He used to drink a green shake in the morning that had soy lecithin in, it looked & tasted surprisingly good. I think the idea of the lecithin is that it helps emulisfy fats & stops it forming aterial plaques -- whether it works, I cannot say.
