any FD's on Oahu's NS?
Hi, I'm looking for any level headed people who like to freedive on Oahu who'd like to work out together. I've been a waterman here for thirteen years, but since an accident took surfing out of the picture, I've been doing the low impact, core strengthening freedive workout as my rehab. I know basic CPR and have a personal best of 75 ft (apprx 20-25m) in hilo bay two years ago. I wish there was a drop off with clear visibility on the north shore of Oahu like there is at south point, but our only close to shore trench is a murky river mouth at haleiwa.

Since I don't have anyone to train with, I'm usually not stretching my limits, but I swim comfortably through many of the beautiful caves at shark's cove at a leisurely and relaxed pace with an average downtime of 1-2 minutes. I'm game to go with any level of people from the hard core, to the advanced snorkel swimmer with sincere interest for more downtime.

anyone interested, drop me a line.

ALoha from the NS
:)

I've just launched that site, but the more people & spots in there the more likely you can buddy up with someone in your neigbourhood.
