I’m relatively new to free diving and only free dive for fun over the summer. Should I be training for my breath holds for the time I’m not going or just begin training again a couple months before summer starts?

I keep up the training intensity during the winter at a lower level. You'll have to work out what that level is.

generally, I do walking while breath holding. First,I take how many steps I could do, then try to exceed that number of steps.

In winter I do pool sessions, which help me to keep in shape and improve the finning technique..
