I have two Omer Alien masks for sale. They each have 4 hours of use, just enough time for my wife and I to figure out that our faces don't quite fit them (some of the few people that this mask doesn't actually fit). Now I have to buy two new masks and need the money from these to get them.

$45 for one or $80 if you buy both, plus shipping.

I'm set for masks right now, but for future reference I was wondering why the Alien didn't work for you. I have a narrow face and I find many masks are too wide.

I have high cheekbones, my forehead is just slightly rounded until you get near the temples and then it suddenly goes straight back towards my neck. I also have facial tics occasionally. I found that water was slowly getting into my nose pocket and then eventually leaking onto the lenses. I would occasionally pull it off my face to get the water out, but it would fill up again over time.

Another problem I had is that the frame presses right between my eyebrows and causes a horrible pressure headache. I usually feel it about 15 min. into diving but it is really bad after 1.5 hours. I am the only one I know of who has that specific problem with the Omer Alien.

I got it because it fits so many different types of face. My wife had constant fog, even if she switched masks with me (probably her breathing into the mask) but she also had slight leaking of water into it, we have very similar faces. I have already tried some other masks that do not have these problems for me while diving, even after 2+ hours. Not to discourage anyone with the above description of problems, as I have already stated I am the only person I know of with the pressure headaches, and I have only heard of a few other people having any other problems with this type of mask.

Thanks for the info Fogish. I suspect I too would have trouble with an Alien. I have a Cressi Minima mask which fits like a glove on my narrow face. I know the field of view is better in other masks, but the Minima is quite perfect for the shape of my face.
