Omer cayman g.i. muzzle. loading question.

Hello.

I recived my first speargun in the mail yesterday.
I belive i set it up corectly but i cant quite figure out how to run the monofilament line after it exits the muzzle through the same hole as the spear.
No mather how i fold it it apears that it will cause unnecessary wear and tear to the line.

I will try to post somme pictures to ilustrate the two methods i`m considering.

Method 1 may appear the most corect but the edge the line pases over just next to the bungethread is supersharp and will kill the mono in no time..possibly..?

I wonder if a Cressi Pacific bulk rubber muzzle would fit? Hmm

I have the same gun, I like it but the top bridge on the muzzle broke on first use. With the use of a dremmel, a 316 grade steel pin, a drill, heat and a steady hand I converted it to an open muzzle but the line still sits as per the image above posted by Mr X.

Oh and when you rig the mono, don't go too tight as the release hook on the side is an area of weakness. Something to do with the internals I think but I resolved it by rigging a slightly tighter loop on the spear which pushes the spear shaft down in to the trigger housing thus pushing the hook out a bit more.
