Omer Ice Fins Test!!!

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Eric -I can ask about the Ice material used in the disc. model from a few years ago for you. Maybe the old material is no longer a trade secret since it gave problems. Will let you know.

I think that the price of the Ice tested by Shaca also increase all the cost of the ''Ice''

Nah, Gibraltar labor is even cheaper than Chinese Labor, he's willing to work for equipment :)

Hmmm, just seen the 'Into the Blue' film. Very cool fins! May buy some if I can find a Omer retailer in the UK. I wonder if they're gonna make 'ice monofins?... rofl

mmmmm.. lemme seee. it's cold outside and alll the algae is gone to sleep for the winter. O'Boy! clear water! but its soooooo cold without 5MM socks. Looks like I'm gonna need some new fins so I can cramm those 5MM socks in them if I want to dive Right Now. AHhh, I would sure like to buy a set of those ICE FINS right now so I can dive With my NEW 5MM socks. Good thing You guys Live in a warm climate so that you can get cool dive things for Chistmas LIKE ICE FINS. AAAnd have the opportunity to use them right away
instead of waiting for the ICE to melt. :(

If the new ice fins cost as much as bat25s i will choose bat25s any day. My buddies here uses bat25s here with great sucsess compared to plastic fins. They especially use 25s for deep spearing 30+ meter. I am more reluctant to try out new records 3.Fin and wetsuit is the most important part of the diving gear in my opinion.

Just remembered this thread and thought I'd tack on. I've been diving my Ice fins in very cold conditions - 34F water and 15F windchills - even had to jump about four feet to get in when my ladder froze over. The don't break and are quite springy even cold.
