Omer Stingray vs Stingray Short for a beginner?

Hi this is my first post here on the forum and i have just started out with freediving with my fiance where we live and would like to know if i should get the Stingrays or the Short Stingrays?
Im thinking that the short ones will be easier to bring in my luggage when me and my fiance go to the Philippines (yeah she is from the Philippines) on vacations or should i just get the normal length Stingrays?

I went with the original length Stingray's. If im gonna travel i can just buy a pair of short ones because they arent expensive.
