OMER, which one

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I went to a local store here and saw a couple of Omer T20's and the gun's looked very nice and at the same time fragile. Their body was thin and I got a mix feeling about them ...
My Omer XXV has the new Omer T10 handle, which I believe is about half the width of the thin Omer T20 you mention! It is certainly a very slim, very light gun. Hopefully well suited to the light bass & mullet fishing here. I love my RA too, and it definitely seems more robust. For the conditions described, a SA railgun would be my choice. Miles explanation says it all.

..and that was just an impression. The Omer T20 is a strong gun. I'm very disappointed it's been discontinued.

Yeah its a shame, love my T20's (110 and a 90) but the HF series is rather nice too, got a 75 and an 80 is next on the list.

Indeed. In fact I had trigger mech problems with the RA last season (thankfully now resolved). The lightweight Omer might turn out to more robust, or it might not - time will tell. [BTW We're still waiting for somebody to review the 100cm version of the super slim, light Omer XXV.]

I found the HF 90 a quick and accurate gun.
