I miss the days when we sold Omersub product at our club in the Acores, Portugal. Now I am back to being a consumer and would like to know where I can find Omersub equipment in Northern California. How about it Mark (or anybody else who might know), do you know of dealers around the Oakland Bay Area?

Azores-Californian Connection

Hey Cingene, I'm sure you miss the Azores too and not just the gear what a place. Went some years ago when it was still legal to hunt dusky groupers and man was that a jewel of a place for some shore diving...I was experimenting with slip tips then on our guns and I witnessed a big grouper bend one.
One afternoon we took a ride in a rib off Faial in the middle of the channel before we left for Pico where we surfed an insane break right under the volcano and we freedove with Sperm whales, spinners, Rissos dolphins all in the channel between the islands. Never made it to San Jorge but spent a few weeks in Sao Miguel and had a few days in Terceira Pico and Faial. We went there looking for bluefins but the timing was bad.

Anyway, oh yeah about the gear, sorry I got carried away reminiscing but it's 40 degrees here in Va Beach.
Talk to Aaron at Nor Cal pretty cool guy who doesn't stock much of our stuff but hey, he knows what he's talking about. Also check with David Laird at Wallin's Dive shop in San Carlos 650 591 5641, Dave's great and even made a few spearfishing videos that have become popular.
