Just letting everyone know that I just recently received my millennium competition fins and Omer Alien mask and I love them. The fins are really stiff, but I am getting used to them fast. And the mask is so low profile, it takes just a tiny bit of air to equalize - very streamlined also. Gotta love Omersub!

i got the alien recently...too much fog at the moment!!!i am getting annoyed everytime i dive...my cressi matrix is better regarding the wide vision and fog shit.
We've had a similar discussion recently about the fogging of omer silicon masks. I confirm my alien doesnt' fog at all. But has anyone tried the fire trick i suggested? It's about passing the flame of a lighter, with rapid movements, all over the lenses. This must be done before the first use of the mask, to destroy the invisible film of silicone that may have remained on the lenses during the manifacturing process. Burn it, then toothpaste, then go to bed and sleep tight...

As a last resort and safer alternative I used soft scrub on a reccommendation. I had a particularly difficult time with an Oceanic Mini Shadow. I should have seen it coming. I returned the previous one after I found deep scratches all over the lense. Obviously someone else had a fogging problem too. 2 scrubs with toothpaste had a marginal effect. I rubbed the soft scrub all around with my fingers for several minutes. That did the trick.
Yes, the competition fins are much stiffer than the regular millenniums. Omer specs say the regular millenniums are for 0-60ft. And the competitions are for deeper dives. I love my millennium competitions, they are very stiff, and the propulsion is awesome.
