Hi All

I've been back into free-diving & spearfishing for the last 5 months or so and am absolutely loving it. Its been a long 20 year break with only a bit or sporadic snorkeling now and then to keep my feet wet.

I had a holiday of a lifetime in the Solomon Islands in February and spent hours everyday in the water, snorkeling/freediving and even spearfishing (fish scaring really) which reigniting my love of the water - without cumbersome scuba gear, which has never really appealed.

After the 10m waterproof camera stopped working on the 2nd day I decided it might be an idea to borrow a dive computer, and this told me I was diving to 15m, with nasty plastic fins and no weightbelt. Since then there has been a level one course, lots of diving and plenty of fresh fish.

Now its the depths of winter and last weekend was 15 deg water so a new wetsuit is happening very soon to keep the training up until summer comes back to visit.

Ciao

Carl
