I had a close call today. Starting out as 'one of those days', where everything seems to go wrong, and then deciding some time in the water might bring change...

The combination of high waves, a two kilo octopus and a live speargun where the shooting-line got off, which allowed the spear to move, taught me that in spearfishing, if it's 'one of those days', don't go into the water; Go back to bed and try again tomorrow.

Things could've gone very wrong today, but luckily nothing happened, except for slipping in a shallow pool and cutting my foot badly on the barnacles.
