One week holiday in La Reunion (sperfishing?)

Hello,
I'm from Italy and I'm planning to go in Reunion Island next April.
I would like to get some more information about spearfishing rules there and some advice (good spot, kind of fish, how much the shark is really a problem, etc..).
I'll be there with my family that means my wife and my son (3 years) and I would like to start my spearos game from the beach.

how did the holiday go? did the rest of the family who were not diving have a good time, my husband does not dive so hope he can have fun while I am diving.
