Opinions on Moray and Wettie Wetsuits

Well hello there!

I now reside in New Zealand and made the mistake of not buying a wetsuit prior to moving.
The two prevalent companies seem to be moray and Wettie, but I am hard pressed to find any unbiased reviews of any suits made by either company.
They are praised on some Facebook groups, but are sponsoring as well and especially wettie seems to have some kind of monopoly on the whole spearfishing equipment market.
On the other hand I got some opinions that Wettie suits are not that good after all and you should stay away if you can.

Since this will be my first suit, I cannot tell anything about the quality from just trying them on.

So, has anyone any experience with either brand and is keen on sharing?

I have only tried Moray, but I thought they were really good value for the money. The neoprene is not as soft as some other brands I have tried BUT it is also way more durable...

I have a wettie suit in a 5mil and like it a lot. I always get compliments on how well my suit is made and how it feels on the inside. It's about 3 years old now and is holding up great.
