It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Gonna try it on again tonight and will ship it tomorrow and maybe get an L , if it won't fit over my arms i will stretch it , the air pocket also really bothering me as it seems quite big :)

What really sucks is that it might work ok but if i swim in it they won't accept a return :) next time i will look for a store that allows you to try it in the water maybe .

I Need a new suit for the Pooltraining Dynamik too.
Kars, which suit do you use? Which size?

Marc

Hi Martin,

actually I am also considering buying an elios suit.
Right now I use an Camaro Speedskin. Its o.k, but its 4 years old and "worn out".
It is 2mm and sometimes I feel cold so I think about a 3 mm Elios.

I think the optimum thickness for me depends on the kind of dynamik-training.
If I train technic and swimm/dive a lot with only little rest, 1 or 2 mm is enough,
but if we train maximum attempts with a lot of rest between the attemts,
I think for me 3 mm is better.

Maybe a 2 mm Elios would do.....
Any suggestions, which one?

This one:
1) Suit 1,5mm nylon elastic inside / Superskin Dark Grey outside Neoprene
Yamamoto 45 Freedown Price Euro 240,00 This is the better suit for
freediving indoor and dynamic apnea in warm waters, very very elastic,
Super-comfortable, extra-glide, durable and easy to wear like a t-shirt.
(extra-low water-resistance)

I ordered one-piece 2mm Heiwa smoothskin with nylon lining inside :)
Next week i gonna receive it, then i will talk about it closer ;)

Very interested to hear from your experiances!

"One-Piece"? Like a swimmsuit? with Hood? You will have to post pics!

I will go for a tailormade one, because I am 190 cm with 74 kg, which doesnt fit in the usuall sizes. I am to light or to tall, call it what you want ;-)

This:
Without hood ;)

Im 188cm and also 74kg :D Elios said that Size II double long (or something like that) will be good to me ;) Elios dont make tailormade one-piece suits, only two-piece suits :)

At the moment I got an Old 2XU Velocity 1 suit, expensive suit, but after 3 years (use 1 x month on average) still holding up, though the shoulder neoprene has lost the CWS coating and also it's smooth surface now full of 'craters'. The rest of the suit is ok.

I think my Next suit is going to be sleeveless, because I don't like water ingress and am doing a lot of arms over head with monofinning. The suit for me is for warmth, buoyancy, streamlining (that order).

Since I don't have tested many suits I cannot recommend any one in particular.

Elios also provides suits specially for monofinning (hands over head position) :)
I ordered that kind of thing ;)
Sleeveless aint so warm eh ?

At the moment I train in a 28c 25m pool, and there 3mm high density Heiwa trousers are warm enough. When I swim less, I'll add a 3mm sleeveless vest and that is ok in 28c pool for my skinny person.

In a 26,5 c pool I like to wear the tri-athlon full suit, the 2XU V1 I mentioned, because that's indeed warmer and keep me warm enough provided I don't stand still for too long.

Btw food and the amount sleep make a big difference in my ability to keep myself warm.

Hi Martin,

could you tell me, which elios suit this exactly is?
The only one I can find is this:
Sport
the triatlon-suit.
What is the Price?

All these regular smoothskins look the same, but for extra money u can choose different colour/camo if u want.
Send mail to Elios, write what do u want and they send u several options to choose from ;)
Good luck! :)

I bought this from wiggle, then I shot the wearing. Enjoy it!
