Business: We are looking for an Instructor for a small, owner-run dive school at Kande Beach Campsite in Malawi (Southern Africa), that concentrates on dive courses (PADI Open Water to Dive master), Discover Scuba Diving, Recreational Dives and Refresher Courses. www.aquanuts.info
Location: We are situated on Kande Beach Campsite on Lake Malawi. Kande village is located 60km south of Nkhata Bay and 80km north of Dwanga on the M5 lakeshore road. Due to our remote location, the suitable candidate must feel comfortable living simple and without the usual distractions.
Clientele: Kande Beach caters mainly for Overland Trucks with a very mixed and young international clientele what is our main market. The expatriate and independent travel market is growing steadily and we accommodate clients from the surrounding lodges as well.
Dive Environment: Tropical freshwater lake at 474m above sea level. The lake features around 1000 species of cichlids (highly colourful tropical freshwater fish). These fish are endemic to the lake and are exported all over the world for aquarium enthusiasts. Best diving conditions are from August to March (hot and rainy seasons). April - July windy season (winter). We operate all year round.
Employment Duration: As soon as possible to March/April 2006 with a view to extending.
