Oxygen bottle for monofin dynamic swim

Hi all,

Sorry abt that but there are some questions in my head for many days now and although I've tried my self to search through the internet and forums have failed to find the answers..

Have seen in photos, videos, etc monofin dynamic swimming in swimming pools holding an oxygen bottle and breathing underwater (like the photo).

Can I ask what is the use of this bottle?
Can I use this bottle for training at sea at swallow waters ofcourse, say
-2m?
Where can i found one?
How much it cost?
How many breaths can give?

What is this anyway???

The immersion discipline involves the use of a scuba tank and a simplified regulator. It is NOT pure Oxygen :-D
Finswimmers use small diving cylinders with small simple demand valves to race over 100 m, 400 m or 800 m. The cylinder is held in the hands by it's neck. The cylinder must not touch the end walls or the finswimmer will be disqualified.

Kind of funny, that somebody knows the freediving, but doesn't know much about finswimming - which is a much wider known, and much bigger number trained sport. Usually, this is the case in the opposite direction. A lot of people asks me about my mono (while on public transportation, on street, in elevator at the office, ...) and thinks, I'm finswimmer. (I don't know if it is olympic sport, or not, but if not - it is close to that).
