Broadreach is seeking PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors to lead teen diving programs in the Caribbean.
Seeking Instructors available from May 31 to August 18.
Instructors will teach diving courses while living with and supervising students in a 24/7 setting. Instructors mentor students, monitor safety, manage group dynamics, and coordinate logistics for community service and town time.
Programs are limited to 12 students led by a team of two to three instructors. Dive instructors work alongside a marine biologist, skipper, or another dive instructor to successfully lead live aboard programs.
Braodreach leads programs in many location including, St. Martin, Curacao and Bonaire.
Qualifications
- PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification with active teaching status.
- Previous experience working with teens or young adults, preferably in a camp or 24/7 setting.
- Passion for mentoring and motivating students and fostering cultural understanding.
- Specialty teaching certifications or willingness to obtain some of the following: underwater naturalist, boat diver, peak performance buoyancy diver, AWARE-coral reef conservation, AWARE-fish identification, night diver, wreck diver, and deep diver.
Students and instructors will stay on boats for the duration of the program. Food and accommodations will be provided while on site. Flight stipend included.
