Palermo/Sicily during x-mas

Hi all,

I'll be spending Christmas in Palermo. Interested in nice sites for recreational freediving and to find dive buddies. (I don't do spearfishing however. Fish are friends, not food ;) ) And if there are any freediving clubs/associations/schools nearby that's of course also of interest.

Hallo,

did you find something interesting in Palermo or near?
We are intending to go to Sicily this summer and I'm looking for information of freediving too...

Unfortunately we were hit by very bad weather (snow!) so diving was largely cancelled. But according to what I gathered, Taormina and the satellite isands (e.g. Ustica) are really nice.

Hope to go back at some point :) Good luck with your vacation!

it's pity!
but what about freediving clubs or schools where? Can you please advice someone?
I have found only one club and not in Palermo and I'm waiting answer from them still.

I didn't try to get in touch with anyone so unfortunately I can't help you with that. But please update this thread if you get any valuable info – at least I'll be going back. A beautiful place!
