Hey all,

I've started planning a couple of trips for 2018/19. I'm doing Malta in the end of May, the Azores (Flores) in September and I might squeeze a Norway-trip in between :) When planning for 2019 I realised that I do not know many places that have peak season in the months of October - April. Obviously it depends on what species you're going for etc. but it would be cool to list peak seasons around the globe so everybody can benefit and plan accordingly. I'll start with what I know and leave it up to the rest of you to add/correct:

January: Abu Dhabi, Middle East
February: Abu Dhabi, Middle East
March: Abu Dhabi, Middle East
April: Indonesia,
May: Indonesia
June: Indonesia, Europe
July: Europe
August: Europe
September: Europe
October: Europe
November: ?
December: ?

Happy hunting!

October = Kobtober in South Africa. It is also the beginning of season for white Musselcracker, which may be one of the main reasons for me not drinking myself to liver failure and death[emoji16] That is...it is the most fun I’ve had in the surf zone!

I believe one might also stand a good chance of a big YFT in Cape Town in March. Wine, good food and big fish.....[emoji108]
