Here's a pic of a nice little AJ I shot last weekend while diving pea soup. The vis was no more than five feet. I had made about 2 dozen dives to 60+ ft for a glimpse at fish that never materialized. On my last dive I decided to level off at the top of the wreck and see if something would come by. When I was about to give up, and turned around the head back to the surface a school of small AJs came by. Then this larger fish came from behind the school to check me out. He gave pretty good fight, and managed to wrap my shooting line arounf me a few times. Was a lot of fun none the less.

Enjoy the picture.

Good picture Gerald. With the vis between 2-5ft i think we did as well as could have been expected. I hope we make it over to the west coast again sometime when the conditions are a little better. I took several at the dock pics of the catch and thought of posting them on the "other" board but haven't goten around to it yet. I was thinking of renaming John to "black sheep" after thinking of his resulting stringer at the competition.rofl
Thanks again for inviting me to go with you....I had a very good time. Happy Hunting!!
