What's up y'all. I'm new to the forum and looking for some dive buddies in the pensacola/alabama/destin area. I'm only experienced in free diving but recently acquired all the essential spearfishing gear to get started. AB biller 42 gun, float, pole spear and all the stuff needed to dive safely. I've tried a few spots in pensacola bay with no luck due to visibility but I plan on hitting the perdido pass soon and would gladly throw in gas money for trips offshore. I'm pretty comfortable in any depth under 70 foot with decent bottom time so I'm not completely new to the sport. I've gigged plenty of flounder back in jacksonville as well as fishing wrecks offshore so I know where to shoot and what fish we are looking for. Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
